Tonya P. , Thanks for the comment. So do you think A) Mars is sterile? B ) Even if Mars has life, it could not be harmful or become an invasive species on Earth, or C) Even if it could be harmful, scientists and technicians would never suffer an accident or mistake to release it on Earth? Thanks!

Tonya P. thank you. Do you know of the many signs that Mars could have microbial life? Do you know that so many scientists agree that microorganisms could live on Mars that Special Regions on Mars were designated to be avoided unless ultra-high sterilization was performed before entry?

That’s interesting, so wouldn’t the the answer C. then prevail?
Such as using the labs on the ISS. as an entry point, for safe testing prior to exposure to our only Earth?

What is the purpose of the international space station if not for stuff like this if there is a risk of contamination to our own planet this should not be allowed.
